What is an Instagram Remix?
Instagram Remix is a feature that lets you make a new Reel using another person's Reel. You can play your video side by side with the original, show it as a picture in picture, use it as a green-screen background or add your clip after theirs. It is Instagram's answer to TikTok's Duet and Stitch.
The remixed Reel credits the original creator. Accounts can turn remixing on or off for their content, and the available layouts change as Instagram updates the feature.
Remix also covers a sequential mode, where your clip plays after the original, which works much like a Stitch.

Only if remixing is allowed. You can turn it off for all your Reels in settings or for individual Reels.
